DMCA Notice

Discovery ADO respects the intellectual property rights of others. This page describes our procedure for handling copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe content on discoveryado.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is allegedly infringing, with information sufficient to locate it (URL preferred)
  4. Your contact information (address, telephone, email)
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

3. Counter-Notice

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, telephone, and consent to jurisdiction in your district

4. Repeat Infringers

We will terminate access for users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

5. False Claims

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents either that material is infringing or that material was removed by mistake may be liable for damages.
